Our North Star: The Autonomy Layer for the Future of Work

Robots at work, humans in flow. Building a universal AI brain that coordinates robots and humans as one seamless team.

GalacNo will focus fully on research for the next few years, with select GalacNo divisions supporting deployments for interested partners starting at the end of 2026.

Our Mission

Provide an upgradable "brain" that turns any off-the-shelf robot into an adaptive, collaborative partner.

Our Vision

To lead the next industrial revolution by enabling robots to learn, evolve, and integrate into every aspect of human life.

Our Values

Mission first, ego last. Low bureaucracy and high ownership. We hire for perspicacity, curiosity, and agency.

Mission First, Ego Last

We choose what is best to advance our mission. Every decision, every debate, every trade-off is measured against mission impact. Egos check at the door; excellence speaks for itself.

High Ownership and Gumption

Bias to action. Do the hard, unglamorous things. Finish what we start. We don't wait for permission to solve problems: we identify obstacles, propose solutions, and drive to completion. Ownership isn't a title; it's a mindset.

Perspicacity and Curiosity

First-principles reasoning, measured risk-taking, and changing our minds when the data changes. We dig beneath surface-level solutions, question assumptions, and embrace being wrong if it gets us closer to truth.

Paper to Production

Continuous exploration: research always alive. We turn insight into shipped capability, moving from academic findings to production systems with velocity and rigor.

Low Bureaucracy (No Dilbert Coefficient)

Minimal layers, small cross-functional teams. Managers are player-coaches. Processes exist only to remove friction, not to justify hierarchy. We measure ourselves by velocity and impact, not meetings attended.

Reduced-Friction Environment

One owner per decision, clear interfaces, concise docs, fast PRs, and automation over meetings. Time is our scarcest resource: we optimize for flow state and deep work, not performative busy-ness.

Excellence Over Perfectionism

Quality where it matters (safety, reliability, ethics) and rapid iteration with real users. We ship, learn, and improve. Perfection is the enemy of progress. Excellence is the practice of continuous refinement.

Roadmap

Research-first, then deployments.

Our roadmap stages technical, regulatory, and market risk. We are research-first today; select partner deployments begin at the end of 2026, compounding into more environments, more skills, and more trust in the stack.

2025

Foundational research & Stack 1.0

Build the simulation-first stack and safety guardrails; no commercial deployments.

2026

Research runway + first partner deployments

Fund pure research (sim-to-real transfer, intent recognition, safety-guarded planning) and support select deployments for interested partners starting at the end of 2026.

2027

Stack research milestones

Expand skill abstractions, telemetry, and evaluation harnesses, kept strictly in research environments.

2028

Validation & certification prep

Prepare certification packages and third‑party validation for safety‑critical autonomy.

2029

Pre‑deployment readiness (still research)

Complete integration playbooks, safety cases, and reference evaluations, with no commercial deployments before 2030.

2030

First deployments + Safety & Assurance 1.0

Begin controlled deployments and publish open safety‑case templates; pass the first independent autonomy audit.

2036

Orbital assembly demo

With ESA/NASA partners, complete a fully autonomous in‑orbit truss build (~10 m).

2038

Project Armstrong

Provide the autonomous backbone for the first permanent human lunar outpost.

Leadership & advisors

Operators across robotics, safety, healthcare, and space.

GalacNo is built by engineers, researchers, and operators who have shipped robots in the wild, worked on safety‑critical systems, and contributed to missions beyond Earth. A selection of our leadership and advisors:
